Prize Mail Haul! First Impressions

Hey guys! It's been a while! I have been really stressed lately with various events. But I want to thank all of you for sticking with my blog and/or my YouTube. 

I'm doing my first prize mail haul on here. I'm also filming one, which will have extra items that I have got myself, but blog post first! :D 

These products were all from giveaways I have won over the past month. It's kind of crazy how lucky I was! I'm very grateful to receive all these things.

First, I'm starting off with the giveaway I won from my good friend, Theresa. You can check out her channel here.

They all came in this "The Face Shop" bag, which I'm guessing is a Korean cosmetics store up in New York?

 

I KNOW. All these picture's quality is horrible! My camera, although it is pretty good, has a really hard time focusing, so it literally takes me 40 shots to take even these ehhh pictures. But anyways, I'm starting off with this product first because it's the one I am most excited about.

It is a tarte gifted Amazonian clay smart mascara that comes with a lash primer! tarte is a more "high end" brand which you can find on Sephora and is constantly raved about (ahem, their Amazonian clay blushes), so I was super excited to finally try a high end mascara, and my first product from tarte. First of all, tarte prides itself on being one of the more natural makeup brands out there. For instance, this mascara is formulated without parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, sodium lauryl sulfate, and synthetic fragrances, which are all pretty bad for you and are usually found in makeup.
Anyways, my first impression was DANG that is nice packaging. The tube of mascara feels like very high quality and very sturdy, not like cheap plastic like drugstore mascaras.
I will be doing a more in depth review of this and its lash primer and a comparison to drugstore products in the near future.

The other things that I received were awesome skincare samples that I can't wait to try out!

Then I received a "I Love Pure Color puremylips" lip gloss in Chic Brown.. it's not really a brown, it's a dusty rose. It smells awesome and the packaging is really cute and simple! For the color on the lips, it is one of the most natural glosses I have ever tried. You know that awesome just simple wet glossy look everyone wants to achieve with a lip gloss, without a crazy color? This is a your lips but better shade that just blends in and gives you a wet sheen without individual glitter particles. It looks really glittery in the pictures just because I had flash on. Also, the texture is a little sticky, but it's the kind of sticky that is moisturizing and stays on for a long time.

The next and final thing I got for this giveaway was this really awesome phone charm! It's such a cute teddy bear head with encrusted jewels that you can plug in your headphone jack. Unfortunately, it broke after a couple days. Which is so sad. It was so beautiful while it lasted.

I have actually never heard about this pallete before, but it seems like a great one for beginners.
For my first impression, I would not buy this on my own ever though. It's a little misleading, as it is titled "Party Looks" and has beautiful sapphire blue eye makeup featured on the cover. However, there is no such colors, or any bright color for that matter in the pallete. They are all just similar metallic/frosty/glittery greys/purples. It is very hard to get pigmentation and they are quite chalky. The mascara is really small so I will be using it for bottom lashes. And the eyeliner is actually quite awesome, it's very pigmented and smooth.
Though that was a negative first impression, I am still very grateful for getting these products and I'm excited to test them out further!

There was another item I won from another giveaway, but I did not feature that because those were bath products and not beauty products. They will be featured in a haul I will do later on my channel though, so when that is uploaded, I shall make a link here so you can watch it!
